Webcomic

The foreboding is intense! How should we feel as the year opens up with celebrations and tragedy combined? Right is now wrong, good is now evil, violence is peace and empathy is lacking. It can feel awkward to tell people to do what is right or decent when the world is clearly not echoing such grand ideals. It can make me feel like a liar. And yet pushing for what is "true, honest, and right" seems to be the only answer. When things go dark we must search for the light and maybe even dare to become that light. Good luck y'all!

Ralph Ellison’s novel Invisible Man was the inspiration for this comic. My take was to place a nameless character navigating a surreal world full of the philosophical angst of 19th-century philosophers.

This story has been conceptualized visually and is not written yet. Growing up I loved reading stories that featured talking animals so I had to conceive one of my own. Please enjoy the colorful illustrations.

Maximus the Confessor Comic

This is a short comic that introduces the life of the early church father Maximus the Confessor. He would dare to defy the emperor's theological mandates. It would lead to his persecution. I illustrated this for all ages but more so for myself. I enjoy learning about the early church by turning the info into comic strips. I imagine others might enjoy it too.
